After a huge 30th anniversary celebration in 2026, we’re kicking things off again in the heart of Outback Queensland for another unmissable weekend of dirt, dust, and everything in between next April. Get ready for the best weekend you’ll have all year!
A new year, the same outback spirit
Dirt n Dust has always been about more than the events – it’s about community, mateship and backing each other in true bush style. As we roll into 2027, we’re bringing that same spirit back to Julia Creek for another action-packed weekend under the Outback sky.
Expect all your Dirt n Dust favourites, including:
- Multicom Resources Dirt n Dust Rodeo – heart-stopping bronc and bull riding action
- South32 Dirt n Dust Adventure Run – the wildest outback course in the country, mud guaranteed
- Artesian Express Horse Races – country racing at its finest

- Live music – a lineup of some of Queensland’s best country stars
