For the last 30+ years DJ X (Adrian Shields) has been dealing out cutting-edge sounds to dance floors the world over.
DJ X has the uncanny knack of being able to read a crowd in an instant and use modern technology
to remix and produce sounds live that gets all ages engaged.
Never forgetting the roots of all music genre’s X is known for spinning absolutely anything, one
minute you are jumping to Darude’s Sandstorm with hands in the air to suddenly screaming at the
top of your voice a country anthem of old, like Pub with no Beer.
X has supported Sneaky Sound System, Daft Punk, Sunscreen, Prodigy, Crystal Waters, Darude,
Basement Jaxx and Norman Cook.
Currently X spends more and more time in the studio writing beats for his live shows but still finds
time for making remixes for other artist and doing remakes of older music for a younger generation.
X has also started classes assisting the youth of the Whitsundays in learning the skills of a DJ
producing some exceptionally good up and coming DJs.
